The answer
Validated.Directory is one page about your business, read from your own website, confirmed by you, dated twice, and written in the formats AI assistants read. It costs $29 a month, card required, cancel in one tap. It does not promise that any AI names you or sends you a customer; it makes sure that when an AI assistant looks, the facts it finds are yours and current. It is run by BeargrassAI in Columbia Falls, Montana.
Key points
- One record per business: name, what you do, where, hours, phone, website.
- Read from your own website. You never type a record.
- Two dates on every record: when we read your website, and when you confirmed it.
- Nine checks on your website, run every day we read it, each with a one-line fix.
- $29 a month. No contract, no ranking to buy, no ads around you, cancel in one tap.
What you get
- Every town you serve, on one record, and on each town's page here.
- Your page is yours: no competitor on it, and nobody pays to rank above you.
- Found by AI assistants: open to every one of them, free to read, no key.
- Watched: your home page checked every few minutes. Coming: a note when it stops answering.
- We tell you when your site stops matching your record. Coming: a note when a page your sitemap lists stops opening.
- What to fix, sent to you and only you; coming: a short report each month. See the nine checks.
- Your record, read from your website and confirmed by you, dated twice.

What it does not promise
It does not promise that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or any other AI assistant will name you, rank you or send you a customer. Nobody honest can promise that. It promises that your facts are clear, current, confirmed by you, and there for any AI assistant to read.
Who runs it
Validated.Directory is run by BeargrassAI, in Columbia Falls, Montana. BeargrassAI helps owner-led rural small businesses get found and described truthfully, by people and by AI. Most businesses listed today are BeargrassAI's own website clients, read from their own sites like any other. BeargrassAI runs this directory and is listed in it, under the same rules.
Questions
- Will this get me more calls?
- We cannot promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. What we promise is that when an AI assistant looks for a business like yours, the facts it finds about you are right, current and confirmed by you.
- How is this different from my Google Business Profile?
- Your Google profile is Google's copy of your business, and it feeds Google's own AI. Your record here is yours, read from your own website, and open to every AI assistant. Keep both. See Google Business Profile and AI.
- How is this different from a review site or a lead site?
- There are no ads, no rankings, no reviews and no leads sold to anyone. Nobody can pay to be placed above you. See paying for placement.
- Do I need a new website?
- No. We read the site you already have. See do I need a new website.
- What do I have to do?
- Give us your web address and an email. A person reads your site and sends back your record and the nine checks. You confirm it, or tell us what is wrong. After that, tell us when something changes.
- Can I use a Gmail address?
- Yes. Any email you read works.
- Am I already listed?
- We list a business only from its own public website. If your business is listed and you did not ask, one message to support takes it down.
- What happens if I cancel?
- The charge stops. Your record stays, marked as read from your site and dated, and the checks stop. One message to support removes it completely.
- Who reads my record?
- Any AI assistant or search tool can read it, free, with no key. We tell every reader: read and cite, do not train.
- What is BeargrassAI Scout, and how does it fit?
- Scout is BeargrassAI's monthly read of what AI assistants say about your business, where you stand against your neighbors, and one next move. It is $149 a month, and your Validated.Directory record is included. See Scout.
- Can an organisation be listed?
- Yes. A chamber, a franchise location or an economic development group is listed like any business, at $29 a month, and confirmed like any other. Bringing many businesses in? There is no group price; talk to us.
- Do you sell my information?
- No. We do not sell your record or the log of who read it.
- Is there a contract?
- No. Month to month, cancel in one tap.
- Why is it $29 a month instead of one payment?
- Because the work continues: we read your website again, run the checks again, and keep the dates honest as your business changes.
- How do I reach a person?
- Write to support@validated.directory. A person answers.
