What we read

Your public site: the page, ai.json, JSON-LD, llms.txt, the sitemap, the crawl rules. Nothing behind a login.

What we keep

Your record, the checks and the dates. From Start: the web address, the email and any code you gave us, your browser's software name, and what one read of your public site found, which goes privately to the person who writes back to you. When you pay, your card is held by Stripe; we never see the number.

From Talk to us: your name, your organisation, what you want to talk about, any note, and your email, which go to the person who writes back to you.

For a client: the email address of the owner, or of the person or firm the owner names to act for them, such as their marketing group. We use it only to send notes about your own site: when it stops answering, when something on it changes, when a page stops opening, and a monthly report. Reply "stop" to any note and they stop.

What we log

Every read by an AI assistant or other software through the open door: which tool, what was asked, which records came back, and the reader's software name. Not who the person was.

The software names that read our pages, counted by day, and the words typed into the directory search with the records it found. No IP address and no person.

Find a business filters its list in your browser, so what you pick there is not sent to us as a search.

What we do not do

Sell the record or the log. Train on your site. Add a person's data: no reviews, no rankings, nothing from a visitor. Type is served by Google Fonts; that request carries your address to Google.
