About
Jeremy Pappenfus is a guitar maker and luthier who builds custom acoustic guitars by hand, one at a time, in a one-person workshop in Columbia Falls, Montana, in the Flathead Valley. He started building in 2008, made 23 guitars under an earlier shop name through 2017, and in 2023 spent five weeks studying guitar building in Chelsea, Quebec. Custom builds start at $4,000 with a 25% deposit, in five model sizes, parlor through dreadnought, and every guitar carries a two-year warranty. Acoustic guitar repair, setups, fretwork, and restoration are done at the same bench. Visits are by appointment, mail-in repairs are welcome, and every inquiry goes to Jeremy.
